Central Filling Station is fueling Knoxville on food, fun

Central Filling Station is Knoxville’s first, full-service food truck park.

Central Filling Station is open Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Food trucks rotate between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to offer different options between lunch and dinner.

Co-owners Alden and Scott Larrick opened the gates to the food truck park in early March. With support from local businesses and the community, the park is continuing to grow. Alden and Scott are bringing their backgrounds together and their passion for sustainability to keep improving the park.

“The people that come around here are very relaxed. It’s a really cool vibe to just hang out with my friends,” park worker Madison said.

Local food trucks such as Ale’ Rae Grill, Penne For Your Thoughts, Tootsie Truck, CJ’s Tacos and many more get a lot of business and community support from the food park.

Occasionally live bands will perform and feature trucks will attend such as Knox Flourish Flower Truck.

This family-friendly, dog friendly also offers a local garden and a variety of games to entertain families. Covered seating areas allow visitors to eat and mingle during unforeseen weather conditions.
